My CLS63 is 4matic
What can I say guys not to see the traction interfering any more and the car just putting the power to the road is just an incredible feeling
Ever since those guys at GAD told me there car was 4matic I straight away ordered a kit it took longer than I expect to get the parts but once they where here my tuner DigiTech in Dubai took care of my car in three days had her rolling on four, now seriously the car is a monster, had some fun this weekend with her, victims where supercharged ZO6 from a roll of 15mph, 2013 GTR three times from a roll and a dead stop and a nice SLS from a roll he offered to buy my car
This a video I made with the Race Start 0-220 KM you can see the traction doesn't even blink once

Wow that is beast! Does your tune limit power in 1st and 2nd gear to preserve the front axle (Like the Renntech tune for the 4matics I believe), or can it take the full force?

so in theory rolling speeds will be slower...but when he has that much power, traction will be cutting in all the way up to 3rd gear..meaning the power is usles and not getting used...
now he will enjoy it more on a daily basis and not fear low speed rolls
amazing !
but the question does come to mind:
Is it worth while to make this upgrade or just get a 4matic AMG from the get go hmmm
thx for sharing having options is better then nothing!

Congrats on the build. I can't imagine the prohibitive cost of doing this. More power to you.
I have been thinking about how much the AWD would be robbing as I was debating getting a 2013 CLS or 2014 4matic.
When I received my monthly mag, they mentioned the new E has 1/4 per mfr at 11.8. I understand this is only estimate and car has not been fully tested but they are usually pretty close. 0-60 was at 3.5 sec so it seems to me that the 1/2 sec advantage at 60mph does not carry thru the quarter mile and it loses a bit of its edge (down to .2 sec).
Others have been mentioning that AWD has more drivetrain loss and with the extra weight, it could account for it.
Anyway, I digress and we would love to know what your 0-60 and 1/4 is with all your awesome mods.

Thanks everyone, I haven't got the chance to stick a Vbox and test the 0-60 I will get on that this weekend, I can't feel any lose of power the car is pulling much quicker than it used to because I have no traction issues that interfere and reduce power, I can't feel the high end speed I am used to is being hurt since I don't do over 280km, I am sure some power has been lost due to the 4matic but its not bad car is very quick
GAD car was taken by Autobild and they clocked 0-100km in 3.4 sec, 0-200km in 9.4 sec and 0-300 km in 23 sec! It is the fastest Mercedes based car tested by Autobild to date "and this is with a single run, not best run out of many", and my car has the same setup as theirs exactly.
What makes a 4matic better is that you can get consistent performance numbers all the time.
Thanks yes the upgrade is worth it to me, the 4matic will be available September so I have like 4-5 months of enjoying it

Guys I do share what I do to my cars but I don't like sharing costs, if you guys are interested I think it's best to contact the developer www.gad-motors.de they will give you the cost of this 4matic upgrade I really apologize, all I can say its a bit expensive

Your guess is right it's over that number multiplied the parts involved are a real long 300 odd parts list, this is a 4matic conversion its the first time a tuner attempts and its working, it will not come cheap. I personally give full respect for my tuner he was the first out there with larger turbo upgrade for the M157 platform, and now this! Can't wait to see what's next
