Park button not working at times
hi,
has anyone else experienced this issue? I have the 2012 cls63.
Sometimes the park button works and sometimes it doesn’t. I can always shift into neutral and reverse and drive. I generally have 2 options.. shift into neutral with the brake on and then open the door and it’ll automatically go into park. But at times that doesn’t work either. If that doesn’t work then I will go into neutral and e brake. Then I turn off engine and turn it back on and I can push the park button again... don’t want to know what happens if I’m on a hill... does anyone know what’s up with that? Any feedback would be appreciated!!
thank you

2012 CLS63
That sounds like a lame issue, even the door opening fails which leads me to believe that I have no idea what to say
But damn, just wanted to lend some support and failed. Someone here knows about sensors of fuses or electronics......
Any chance it has an extended warranty? Or maybe some sort of independent MB shop that can help? Mine is also 2012, so I have to say good luck and let us know
how it turns out.
