I like the look but see a resemblance
I like the way this car looks, but the more I stare at the photos, the more derivative the car appears. It has a vague sort of Inifiniti look from the rear and a Lexus sort of look from the front and a Jaguar kind of look from the sides and interior. I suppose all of these comparisons will be favorable in the marketplace.
Now I am thinking- is this more of woman's car than a man's (appearance only, not the AMG stuff)?

CLS350
I wonder how upset people would be to buy the CLS 55 just to have MB release the CLS63 not long after.. I dont understand why they dont just wait and go with the newer AMG engine.
edit: ok nevermind i just read the article on carconnection..now im even more confused.. a v12 TT in a CLS for 80K? sure..

While I think highly of TCC as far as their news and reviews go, I wouldn't trust them for estimates. They think the next Volvo XC is going to spring from their subcompact V30, instead of the V50, which makes a helluva lot more sense (a discussion for another board). Sure, they're still better than AutoSpies, but then again, who isn't? (Funny how they claim they "predicted" a hybrid Altima when Nissan announced a long while back that they were buying Toyota's hybrid tech and are going to put it in their passenger cars. Took a real seer to predict THAT one).
I was under the impression that MB was moving away from forced induction. I read somewhere that future AMG's will be naturally aspirated, the horsepower being brought by increased displacement, 4-valve heads, and the like.

ITA! Looks very good, how much will a CLS65 cost? I agree that it does sort of look like Lexus....eitherway, Mercedes is continuing to do great when it comes to designing vehicles! Looks very sexy!

A bucket on wheels
the CLS is by far one of the greatest looking automobiles MB has built in a long time. meaning it has an almost timeless look to it.
