DRL OFF??
So I have a 2006 CLS55 manufactured in Canada. So I want to know what I can do to turn my day time running low beams off and be able to turn them on and off at my discretion...? I called the MB dealership yesterday asking them if their computer can turn it off but they said no? There is no option on the steering wheel commands either. I've seen other forums talk about taking the fuse out or unplugging something but I am unsure and need a definite way before attempting lol. Thanks in advance!!

I once had a Canadian 2002 E55 (W210), the low beams would turn on as soon as I shift our of park. The solution was to replace the headlight switch with one from a US car. I don't know if this is the case with the W219. EPC shows 10 part numbers for the light switch. If you are willing to try a used switch, make sure to buy one that is valid for your car.
It depends if you have the following or not:
- Bi-xenon
- Airmatic
- Semi-active suspension
- Headlight cleaning equipment
- Active curve function
Good luck,
