I guess I've been confused. Our Presidents have fluted dials and the bracelet with smaller links, which I understood was the President bracelet. I thought the President bracelet made it a President. Do I know understand that a President case with an Oyster bracelet is still a President model?

While the bracelet you have in mind is called a president bracelet, over the years all Day-Dates for men and precious metal Datejusts for women on metal bracelets have come to be known as presidents.
