R300 L recommended wheels and Tires
hi all,
i'm a new user here.
i own a R300 L 2011.
my stock rim is spec is 255/55R18 8Jx18 ET67 5x112
i would like to upgrade the wheels to a 20 inch, but i'm not sure what maximum offset i can go so that the wheels do not comes out of the fender.
also, what tires size is optimal for comfort. the roads that i drive in are a mixture of 30% potholes of all sizes/ 30% tar asphalts/ 30% concrete cement roads. can i go above 55?
thank you.

R class was set up similar to the ML platform and other MB SUV applications, you can fit up to 22x10.0, or for 20 inch you can run a 20x9.5 ET50-60. Be careful of wheel sellers trying to sell a 10" rear from a car application...the R class requires a specific load rated application and tire sizes are also specific for the all wheel drive.
Recommended tires were 265/45-20 or optional 275/40-20
