My factory 19" sl65 wheels are

Front 8.5 x 19 with 30mm offset
Rear 9.5 x 19 with 31 mm offset

with Tires
Front 255 35 19
Rear 285 30 19

I am trying to find new black wheels and find a lot of OEM mercedes (which Id like to stay with) staggered sets that are
front 8.5 x 19 w 38 offset
rear 9.5 x 19 with 38 offset,

using the mbworld wheel calculator, both my wheels/tires will move in by 8mm ... will this work?

Yes they will. Unless upon visible inspection of the wheels shows that you are extremely close to hitting the calipers now.

What year is you SL?

My '17 has 19x9 27offset front - 19x10 48 rear

It's a 2009 I pulled the offset info from a post I found here but I was also told all r230s are the same
