ASA, "AMG look a likes" for C320 4 matic

Luke,
I am going to order a set of the ASA wheels, you mentioned before that they do come with a MB star centercap? Can I use the stock wheels bolts or do I need a different size? Also what 17" tire can you recommend. I want something with GOOD all season traction, I live in the Northeast and we got alot of snow and I do not want to keep the stock 16" wheels.

another question luke: Are these aluminum wheels coated like the stock ones? Or do I have to polish them to keep the lustre?

Hi Cheeto,
I just bought a set of ASA ST4 18" staggered and had the same questions you're asking. Luke and Roger at tirerack were a great help.

From tirerack they do come with an OEM MB centercap. Saying that, I ended up using the ones that came on my 2002 CLK since the MB star and circle are chrome/shiny. The ones that came with the ASA did not have the shiny accents and I end up storing them with the stock wheels. The OEM bolts and wheel locks did not work. But since I bought from tirerack they came with the right bolts and I bought a set of wheel locks that work too. The MB bolts have a round (or ball) seat while the ASA needs a conical seat.

Hope this helps.

depends on the weather
new bolts and MB center caps are supplied with the wheels at no charge. The wheels are painted and clear coated like a majority of all wheels so, the maintaining the wheels is no different than any other wheel
