1994 E500
Attn: Evosport, brake component questions

Well, my pads and rotors are almost gone, and I'm exploring some replacement options. I notice that you sell Brembo cross drilled factory replacement rotors, and I have a few questions.

1) Front rotors for a '94 E500 are listed at $287 each. I find this quite odd, since '94 E500s have the front brakes from an SL600, and you sell these rotors for $197 each. Please explain this discrepancy, as it should be the exact same product.

2) Rear rotors are listed at $233 each. Rear brakes on all 500E/E500s are from the SL500. These are listed at $133 each. Again, is this a typo, or am I missing something?

3) Do you carry performance brake pads? I'm particularly interested in Porterfield R4-S pads.

4) I'm also interested in powdercoating my calipers. Do you offer this service, or can you recommend someone who does? What is a reasonable price range to have all four calipers powdercoated?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

not evosport, but...

There is a rotor discrepancy in the mid 1994 E500s. They used 2 different rotors in 94, both front and rear.

If you want to, you can email me your VIN number and I can tell you which category you fall under.
