Luke, how does the P-Zero Rosso rank amongst the "best" performance tires?

depends on the weather
let's see .....

Pilot Sport PS2
S-03
Eagle F1 GS D3
Pilot Sport
Ecsta MX
Neova AD07
KD

are all better in performance so, I would say .... about 8th or 9th

Have to agree with Luke on that one...

the PZero is a good piece in some sizes, but not the equal of the PS or the SO. That is, as long as you're getting round PS2's, which all are not. Both the P zero and the SO are lousy when worn.

Yeah, and I have had lots of bubbling problems with the Pzero. I went through 3 of these tires with nyc potholes. I replaced with goodyear eable f1 gsd3 and I hit potholes and nothing happens now.

2002 C32 Black/Charcoal
The major strength of the Rossos is a very, very quiet ride (probably the best in this category)

The Rosso's MAJOR weakness is that they wear like crazy on the rear, unless your car has very low hp/tq. On my C32, I got less than 8K miles on the rears. The fronts look like they could go for another 20K.

Tire Rack does not sell Toyo tires, so the Proxes T-1s is conspicuously absent from Luke's list. I would put the T-1s in the top five tires of Luke's list, and maybe even in the top two or three.

Yeah they do go too quickly in the rear. On the 500, I got almost 9k out of the rears, and that wasnt even peelingout or ripping it with esp off.

So the P-Zero Rosso is quieter than the Pilot Sport 2?
