Removing HRE center caps...need help

I've been trying to remove the center caps, but they won't come off. Is there a special way to do it or a certain tool to use? I appreciate any help I can get, thanks.

If you figure out a way to remove a center cap without taking off the wheel, don't tell anyone.

they pop out but, you need to push them out from the back of the wheel

Should have been more clear. The wheels are off the car and about to get sent back to HRE, but I've tried popping it from the inside and its not doing anything.

haha it's easy to take it off without having to remove the wheel whether its a screw fit or press fit. All you need is a little rubbery tool that cost about $1 which I won't name.
