Question about Potenza RE750s
When I went to pick my car up and looked at the tires, it looks like the Potenzas are stretched over my rims. I'm not sure if that is how they are supposed to look, or if something was wrong. It looks almost as if the sidewall stretches outward from the top of the tire down to the edge of the wheel. I am used to the top of the tire sidewall being either flush with the wheel or having having the appearance of stretching inwards from the top of the tire down to the wheel.
My wheels are 18x8.5 in the front and 18x10 in the back. My tires are 235/40/18 in the front and 265/35/18 in the back. This is the same tire setup I ran with my Yokohamas.
Does anyone have any experience with Potenze RE750s and know if this look is normal?

"The Potenza RE750 features Rim Guard rubber ridges on its lower sidewalls to function as bumpers to help protect wheels from curb damage."
