C32 Offset Question
hi guys, I just have a question that maybe you guys can help. I have a 02 C32 with the stock 17" AMG rims. I wanted to upgrade to 18", and after some research, I am thinking of going to 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear, all Falken 512s. I guess the tires and size should be ok, but when selecting rims, I get confused. I am thinking of getting an AMG Replica, but the size is 18 x 8 (no other choice) and offset is 30, will it fit the car? I am not sure when using 18" or even stock, what the offset is... and since I am using staggered setup, can i use 18 x 8 all around, as the 05 C55 has 18x7.5 and 18x8.5. thanks for all the help..

The proper staggered configuration would be 225-40-18 and 245-35-18 with 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 wheels. With 255-35-18, the speedometer reading will be 1.1% too low.
I went thru the same thing as you when I did my plus-1 upgrade a few months ago. Since I prefer staggered setup and many after-market wheels do not offer staggered sizes, I ended up purchasing AMG wheels.
If I opted out the staggered setup, I would have many more choices.
