Question Correct offsets for a 2004 CLK55

I am curious what the offsets are on my current F/R 17" wheels and what "range" of offsets can I use if I want to go 18X8.5/18X9.5...thanks!

The AMGs that come with the car should be ET37/34. As for the 18x8.5/9.5, it really depends on the wheel that you're looking for. Anything around ET30 should be okay. But if you already have something in your mind, shoot me an e-mail, perhaps I can get you a nice deal.

Question

I was thinking maybe the SL65 knockoff's I have seen on eBay. I really like the SLK55 22 spoke wheels but I don't think they will fit. Will the SL65's clear my front caliper??

The SL65 wheels and the SLK55 wheels both will clear your calipers because their calipers are bigger than yours. Offsets are okay with both wheels also. However, you must find the right hardware if you were to put the 65 wheels on.

So, the SL65 knockoffs are okay? I cannot afford $7K+ for wheels right now. What do you mean by hardware? Lugs?? Thanks again, Harris.

Please...you are driving a AMG. Don't put any replicas on it. Send me an e-mail, I'll work with you based on your budget. OK?
