Needs alignment after changing spring pads?
Hello, sorry for a dumb question..
I recently changed the rear spring pads from #1 to #4 to raise the rear.
I know alignment is needed whenever the springs are changed.
But is alignment also needed if the spring pads are changed?

Two things will help you decide:
1. When changing spring pads, did you take out the springs and/or shocks? If the answer is yes, then it is recommended to do a re-alignment.
2. However, if you havent experienced any off-center or pulling to the left/right, you might be okay without doing re-alignment.

Well, since there is absolutely no adjustment in the rear of the newer mb's i thinkits safe to say an alignment is a waste of money since theres no adjustment. You can only change camber with the adjustable arms in the rear. If itis the front then i would get an alignment.
