Luke - Tires for the G55?

Getting a 2005 G55. Are my best tire options in your opinion the Pirelli Scorpion Zero's or Michelin Pilot LTX's in stock 285/55/18? Seems to be three problems with fitment on this truck: O.D., load rating, and V vs H speed rating....And then there's what to do for (serious) winter -- Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow in a 255 drops O.D. by over an inch! What are your thoughts/experience? Thanks.

depends on the weather
winter is easy .... 265/60-18 Blizzak DMZ3's

as far as the summer goes I would run the Pirelli Scorpion Zero ... the Michelin's are horrible in the wet

Thanks, Luke. Hadn't even looked at Bridgestone's winter truck tires because I'd decided to do the Dunlop M3's on the sedans and had gotten off of the Bridgestone track.... By the way, when do winter tires become available?

The Dunlop M3 looks like the cream-of-the-crop tire, but have folks had to go with the M2 or PA2 or a Pirelli SnowSport because of lack of sizes/fitment problems? I'm talking E55T, SL55, and SLK55....
