Can you please tell me what is the widest tire I can use for the rear wheels on the ASA ST4 18*8 on an 01 E430.

I have the following setup:

ASA ST4's 18x8 all around.
Tire Size: Goodyear F1 GSD3's 235/40-18 all around.

I would like to stick with Goodyears F1's.

I would suggest the 245/40-18 on all four corners and if you want wider rears you will need to get wider wheels as well and then you could run a 275/35-18 in the back

You may want to change the recommendation on the tirerack.com website. It recommends size 235/40-18 for the ASA ST4 18*8.

the website always lists a more conservative size .....
