No, it is not a great tire, it is a POS. And they are loud as hell. Did I mention the belts break real easy in them? I've had 6 of them (had to buy two new ones becasue they were toast in about 10k miles), and I broke the belts in 3 of them. I bought them becasue of their high rating on Tirerack, but they are horrible tires.

I agree they are not worth the money. They are not very grippy for a tire that wears so quick. Go with a Toyo T1-S or T1-R if you want the best bang for the buck.

my exp

I forced mine to make it 20k miles. I didn't experience any broken belts however, they wore quickly, which makes sense, since the treadwear was 280 on them. I was happy with the handling and didnt notice any wear associated noises.

I went with the g-force sports now since they have a treadwear of 340 better for my commute. What type of driving are you mostly going to be doing?

I had a set of AVS db that I was very happy with, although they did get noisier after about 10k. Also enjoyed a set of AVS intermediates while they lasted.

I have the G-force sports on my Passat, they are great !! You might also consider Pirelli P-zero nero's, we got those on the C230, great treadwear and quiet ride....
