Exclamation Final Rims&Tire Dilema (Luke please).

Hello,

I have to take a final decision.

Now I have original Brabus Monoblock VI 17*8 ET 30 225/45 all around. GoodYear F1.

I wanted to change to Brabus Monoblock VI 18*8.5 ET30 and 18*9.5 ET35. Pirelli Rosso.

I tought all was ok, but I have read that 225 in a 8.5 wheel is to stretched and I would have no rim protection, and that 255 on a 9.5 wheel will be a lot to stretched and the tire wont touch the roads in the borders and too much in the center. Also, I will have no rim protection at all at rear.

I don't know why Brabus don't do 18*8 and 18*9.

It is safe to do the change? What will I lose doing it, etc...

Best Regards and thanks.

Ruben.

depends on the weather
with 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 I would recommend a 235/35-19 and a 265/30-19 on your car

it's 18' rims; not 19'.

At front I have to put ET30 because I have big brakes.

Will 235 dit front without rubbing?

Will 265 fit rear without fender rolling?

Best Regards.

Ruben.

Then in 18 8.5 and 18 9.5 the 225/40-18 and 255/35-18 are the best sizes?

Wont 18' 255 be too stretched on a 18' 9.5 RIM?

Will I have to lower my car for visual issues switching from 17 to 18? Right now I have evolution pakg which is already lowered.

Best Regards.

Ruben.
