.........I finally found a 16 inch rim to fit my E55 and I purchased Hoosier 28/10.5-16 drag slicks. The tire is too tall and rubs considerably on the inner wheel well and also on my fenders. I had to abort my run last night at the drag strip. I don't want to do extensive modification of the wheel well. I need something less tall. 26/10-16 or 26-8.6 16. To my suprise, I am unable to find these. Do any of the tire experts here know where I can find 26inch tall drag slicks to fit a 16 inch rim.

...........There are 26 inch tall drag slicks available for 15 inch rims. I have tried a 15 inch rim but the rim does not clear the rear my rear stock calipers. Any info will be appreciated.
