Question for 2006 C350
Hey
I just bought a C350, and have a line on a set of 18" wheels, 18" x 8.5 front and 18" x 9.5 rear, 35mm offset and correct bolt pattern on E-Bay (FM Monoblock 6's). I want to get teh tires from TireRack though as I've had good results in the past.
I was thinking about 245/40-18 fronts and 265/35-18 rear tires, Michelin's probably (PS2's).
2 questions please:
1) Any issues with this fitting or working correctly? The car is not lowered and probably won't be.
2) I looked at the sticky FAQ post in this forum and saw a few other tires listed in the same category as the PS2's, I don't plan any snow driving here in California but lots of rain potentially, how do the PS2's do in the wet?
I don't need maximum race traction, but good predictable grip, great steering and low noise is the criteria.
