I bought some aftermarket wheels with snows from a private party (shame on me, but it was fast, cheap, and they came off an SLK) and my lugs are too long to attach the rears (they locked up my parking brake, detailed in this THREAD). Even the shorter ones the seller gave me make a scraping noise, and the have a different shaped seat than my OEM's (cone-seat?). An MB dealer told me I have to go to the wheel manufacturer, but who knows who that is (I googled some markings from the wheel---VIA 690KG, etc---and found that lots of different wheels have those same markings). I'm guessing my mechanic (who's out of town) will probably want to take a cutting tool to lugs I got with the wheels, half of which look like they've had about 3mm sawed off them already (again, they were on an SLK, and the seller advised me that he had to use the shorter ones on the back). What's your opinion?
