2003 SL55 wheels on 2001 CLK55
still looking to replace my BBS RX2's with AMG wheels. Looking for 18's, staggered, like 8.5 and 9.5. I should stay away from spacers if I can, right?
What is the correct offset I should look for? WIll the 2003 SL55's work for me? Anybody interested in the BBS's?

Appreciate your response. Where is the "rub" (pun)? Bolt pattern? Inside or outside tire clearance, disk or caliper clearance?
I currently run BBS RX2 8.5 & 10 x 18's. Offsets are 32f and 40r respectively. Tires are 245.35 and 265.35.

You can actually use W211 AMG wheels on your CLK. The offsets are not exact but the wheels will fit the vehicle (clear your larger brakes) without the use of hub centric spacers. You can either use the thin 5 spoke wheel or the split 5 spoke wheel. Both of them would be an 18x8.0 and an 18x9.0.
