I'm finally changing rims/tires.
I'm finally changing rims to new 18' monoblock S.
7.5J x 18 H2 offset 34 225/40 ZR18
8.5J x 18 H2 offset 30 255/35 ZR18
I don't have rolled fenders; would I need to roll rear ones?
I considering this tires (with this rims the tires wont be streched at all):
Toyo T1R
GoodYear F1 GDS3
I looking for good rim protection; prize is nearly the same. Sugestions?
I will weight the 2 rims; the tires, and the rims with the tires before installing them.
Brabus says: **203-106-90 modifications required, VERSION II € 450.00
for sufficient wheel coverage and clearance.
If I have rubbing I will try to put ET34 rear wheels.
Some data without rubbing:
All 225/45 17' ET30 with extra 10mm spacers at rear and no rubbing. (this ones with 20mm spacers and 4 people in the car I had sometimes light rubbing).
All 225/45 17' ET37 with extra 20mm spacers at rear and no rubbing.
So with the new setup at rear I will have 15 mm more of tire on each side. So I think I will be at the limit.
Best Regards.
