I have a potential buyer for my rims but I have never shipped this kind of stuff before.

Can anyone help me with suggestions of how to ship from california to canada my set of 4 - 030 rims with tires. Obviously I want to save the buyer costs but they need to be packaged safely so no damage in transport.

When purchased from Tire Rack, the wheel face has a soft foam cushion. Then both sides are covered with a cardboard disk. This whole assembly is retained by several criss-crossed nylon web bands.

This works very well. The tread and some of the sidewall is exposed to shipping, but I have never seen a problem.

Just don't ship DHL they tend to lose items.
