2005 C230 SS
Luke...HELP! Best tire size for...

New BRABUS Mono VI rims...need to know the best tire size for my 2005 C230 SS. I have heard SO MANY different opinions and I wanted to get an expert's.

Front: 225/40 18 or 235/40/18
Rear: 255/35/18 or 265/35/18 or do I go with a 30?

I figure one of the combos work best, just not sure which ones. I am ordering from TR Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. Dying to buy the tires...please help me out

pm or email is great also

Lorinser
18" staggered on an `05 C230...

Recommended (TUV Approved Lorinser) fitment would be:

225/40R18 Front
255/35R18 Rear

By the way, the Michelin PS2's rock.

depends on the weather
225/40-18 and 255/35-18 maintain the correct diameter while the 235/265 combo is used by some people they are actually taller than the OE tires which alters the final drive ratio which in turn hurts the cars acceleration
