Making some upgrades to the ML

What is the difference between the 3 sets of lowering spring on the Tire rack site for a 2000 ML55? Does one offer a softer ride then another? Also could you recomend a shock that would offer a softer ride then the harsh crap mercedes installed? I know lowering the car and getting a softer ride is almost impossible but at worst I would like the equal ride my ML gives me...

Next question is it possible to add a spacer to the stock 18" AMG wheels and what size would you recomend? I would like to push them out a little more to fill out the fender flairs a little more agressively...

Also is it possible to change 1 tire when Im well in to the tires I have? I did rotate my tires but I bet I have 10k miles on them at least. I have yokohama AVS st tires on there and one of the tires is entirely worn on the inside because of worn tie rods...
