Suggested tire pressure for a sportcoupe.

Hello,

For a 2002 Sportcoupe C230 with 220 Hp with tire presure do you suggest me for the folowing tires:

Front 225/40 R18 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 92Y XL
Rear 255/35 R18 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 94y XL

Mercedes Sticker says:

Front 2.1 to 2.3 Bar (30 to 33 psi)
Rear 2.3 to 2.9 Bar (33 to 42 psi).

I usualy drive alone or with one passenger and no lugage.

Should I continue with MB pressures?

Best Regards.

Ruben,

You're an oldtimer. What you list above match up to the posts from Luke on the subject and you'll be fine.

I'd say 34f and 32r, the rationale being that higher in front gives better turn-in and lower in rear gives better traction.
