Tires for 18 Inch Wheels?
I am looking to put 18's on my 203 C-Class, but would like to put an emphasis on ride quality over handling. What tires that are available in 225/40-18 would be the softest riding? My first thought was Michlin Pilot Sports, would they be a decent compromise?

I dont know if you are going to find some "soft riding" 18" tires. With the low aspect side wall ratio...you will have a stiffer ride. I think I am going to get the Bridgestone S0-3's the next time I replace tires.

Try Toyo T1-S. The tire compound is softer than the rest. It should give you a very smooth ride. Havent got a chance to use S-03, cant comment on it. But I am very happy with Toyo.

Ditto on the Toyo T1-S, they are the best ride yet for my E430K. Been through (stock) Goodyear, Michellin Pilot Sport, Dunlop SP9000 and now the Toyo's. Best all around performer and also the quietest to boot.
