Luke,
I am an average city driver that does not have a lead foot. I really do not want to spend the money to replace the stock brake pads on my new benz. Are dust shields really that bad???
Regards,
Charles

depends on the weather
for normal everyday drving they are not that bad. I do not like them for a few reasons though. First they do retain heat and in certain driving conditions and that can be detrimental to brake performance. Secondly, I do not like the way they look behind the wheels. On an additional note, replacement brake pads that do not create as much dust are not that expensive (well under $100.00)
