Help on W203 wheel/tyre fitment
Hi,
I have a 2002 w203 with 16 inch original wheels currently fitted.
I want to chenge it to a 2005 sl500 18 inch wheels (Avior model), with:
Front: 8.5 x 18
Tyre: 255/40/18
Rear: 9.5 x 18
Tyre: 285/35/18
Would these setting works for my c-class without ANY modifications done at all to the car itself? (What we geeks call "Plug & Play" ^_^ )
Also, is there any side effects at all? (e.g. speedo difference, less effective brake, etc...)

A 2005 SL also uses 14x1.5 lug bolts and the C-Class has 12x15 lug bolts. Never put a 12x1.5 round set lug in a 14x1.5 round set hole rim. Plus those SL tires are too tall for C-Class.
