An interesting side note is that the entire field of the Indy Pro Series (Jr series for the IRL) is competing on OZ Racing wheels as well.
The balance of the field is on BBS.
Surprisingly, that racing technology never translate into the street as OZ are their forging street wheels are heavier and no stronger than the BBS that I currently riding on.
The racing are one piece mag wheel which we can never afford. It's especially interesting that I do not even recall OZ making any lightweight wheels other than the fragile superleggera. I would like to see them making something like a one piece forged like the SSR Comp or lighter multi piece.
