Tire bulge
I'm just wondering how serious this is?
Do I need to get new tires immediately or am I ok to keep driving on them?
They are on a stock C32 and are probably about 2 to 3 years old. Still have some tread left though.
Thanks.

the bubble the original poster referred to is caused by damage to the inner liner of the tire which is allowing air to escape which is then caught by the outer sidewall rubber. In short the tire WILL fail ... there is no way to know
when but it will ... it's just a matter of time and
Shortly after I got my S550, I noticed a small 2" diameter bulge in my front left tire. My dealer told me that the tires are not covered by MB's warranty, but I should check with Continental (I have the standard 18" Continental tire), because tire manufacturers have their own warranty.
Continental told me on the phone that a bulge is usually caused by potholes, but I should bring in the car to one of their service centers for inspection. After inspection, it was determined to be a tire defect (leak in inner lining), and the tire was replaced for free. That was good because the dealer had wanted $209 plus labor for a new tire.
