Tires and size?
I have a c230k coupe...
Im gettign a set of Khumos Ecsta 712, or Nitto s555. Wich tires are better?
also what size should i get?, I want kind of a staggered set up (even tought my wheels are 18x8.5).
The shop told me to get 225/40/18.
can I run:
225/40/18 in the front
255/35/18 rear only
??

Yeah, that 255/35/18 in back will be ok.
I will be trying the Nitto 555 soon myself. Got a set of Antera wheels with the Nitto 555's ready to roll. As soon as I get the locks I am bolting them on.
The Nitto's are listed as 'Maximum Performance' while the Kumho 712 is one step down as 'Ultra High Performace'.
Kumho's Max performance tire is the Supra MX.

255/35/18 is listed on www.tirerack.com as acceptable. They don't usually list sizes which require fender mods.

Go to www.tirerack.com and put in the year and make of your car and the Upgrade Garage list the wheels, tires, suspension, etc. which fit your exact car. You can also call them.
