Luke, Blizzaks not available for my C240?
Luke,
I plan on buying a set of winter tires and wheels and was wondering what you recommend. I went to the Tirerack website but was only given two tire choices for my 2001 C240, and no Blizzaks. My driveway is steep and always ices over making it vital that I have a tire that can give me traction in the ice (you don't even want to know how many times I've pushed my car up the driveway, while my buddies throw sand underneath the tires). Ice traction is way more important than any kind of performance and handling. I do not drive fast in the winter. Thanks

depends on the weather
Your problem is not all that uncommon but, there is a way to maximize your winter ice and snow traction. Here is the best option for your application. Use a 225/50-16 Blizzak MZ-01 with a wheel that has an offset of 35mm. We do have several choices that meet you requirements. My personal choice would be the Mille Miglia Cello
