Yet another question for Luke...2003 S500 wheel fitment question

Luke, once again you're the man on this one.

Need some help.

I'm selling a set of wheels in the classified section of this forum. I've had MUCHO, MUCHO interest but nobody has purchased them yet. I just don't want to sell them to somebody and have them not fit, I would just feel horrible about that. So, the latest gentleman who wants to purchase them has asked me to confirm if they'll fit or not. I would like to defer this to you.

He has a 2003 S500.

My wheels are these:

https://mbworld.org/forums/classifieds/152674-sale-brand-new-19-staggered-speedy-envy-wheels-tires.html

Speedy Envy

19X8.5 front with 2" lip
19X9.5 rear with 3" lip
5-112 bolt pattern
38 offset (ALL 4)
67.1 mm center bore

I know that you can't be 100% certain if they'll fit or not but your expert opinion would be greatly appreciated.

I'm almost positive that the bolt pattern, center bore and widths are ok, but I'm not sure about the offset.

If the offset is a bit off, spacers can be used right?

Thanks a million!

depends on the weather
while it would be an overly aggressive fitmentI have seen worse ... if it was my car I would not run the 38mm offset since the S-Class really needs to be in the mid forties for load capacity reasons

Lorinser
ET38 will work ok, but for a staggered setup on a W/V220 S-Class you should have the rear fenders rolled to prevent any rubbing issues. Lorinser's 19" staggered TUV approved setup for the W/V220 S-Class is:

8.5x19 ET38 (245/40R19) Front
9.5x19 ET38 (275/35R19) Rear

One other thing concerning your wheels. The 67.1 centerbore on the wheels will need a centering ring to make it hubcentric for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. You will need center rings with a 67.0 mm outer diameter and 66.6 mm inner diameter.
