Hi Guys, I recently bought W140 S500 and was wondering what is max wheel size I can put on without modifying suspension.
Thanks.
Thanks.

For the sake of ride comfort, I wouldn't surpass 19 in diameter rims. Have 18 in wheels on my car and they look great, size wise, IMHO.

I have seen 22's but, I wouldn't go above 20's and 19's would be my preference

20" is the largest TUV approved fitment that Lorinser has for the W140. Specs are:
9.0x20 ET38 (255/35R20) all around
Fender rolling is highly recommended to prevent rubbing issues as this is an aggresive fitment.

Lorinser has limited fitments (they only have 1 or 2 offsets and widths per wheel) for MB cars so thats why it says fender mods require.
You can run a truly custom crafted wheel in 20" on a w140 with no mods at all.
