CLS55 Wheels On E350

hey guys i know this has been brought up before but, i only seen people put them on E55's. i have a 06 E350 with the appearance package. i can buy a set with Pirelli tires size is 2 front 19 x8.5 with Pirelli 255/35/19 & 2 rear 19x9.5 with pirelli 285/30/19. i would also probobly like to lower it if it stands to high. i have also read that there is a problem with sport2 but what if i am in sport 1 ?

Talking cls wheels on E class

My wife has the regular cls500 wheels (18") in chrome on her
E500 and they BARELY fit. I do not know how the backs do not rub as they sure look like they should. I have seen the 19's on and E somewhere ( think on this site), but am not sure if the offset is different or if it is tire size (wifes are 245/40/18 and 275/35/18). If I were guessing, I would say it is tire size that will cause you problems.

By the way, her car is lowered about 1/2" all the way around via the washer method (athough she does not know it )

depends on the weather
the offset is a little lower than recommended and the tires are larger than recommended both of which in combination would most likely cause some rubbing issues
