2005 C230 SS
Thumbs up Q for luke / Tirerack - 05 C230 SS

I had a question about these rims listed below:

ASA ST4 Silver w/Machined Lip:

Size Selected: 18x8
Price: $199 (each) Closeout
Estimated Availability: In Stock
Recommended Tire Size: 225/40-18
Wheel Offset: 32mm
** Lightweight: 25.0 lbs. **

Size Selected: 18x9 Optional Rear
Price: $199 (each) Closeout
Estimated Availability: In Stock
Recommended Tire Size: 255/35-18
Wheel Offset: +32mm
** Lightweight: 26.5 lbs. **

1) Will they fit my stock 2005 C230 SS without a problem and will they clear my front brakes?

2) Do we get any special or extra discount for being a member mbworld/benzworld?

3) I see that these rims are on "closeout" - how many sets do you have left because I am very interested in purchasing these rims as long I can be assured that they will fit nicely on my stock 05 C230 SS without a problem? And what was the "before closeout" price for these rims?

4) Which tires do you recommend? I don't drive in the snow - live in south FL - rain and heat only / not trying to break the bank, I was looking at Yokohama AVS ES100
(Ultra High Performance Summer)

Thanks in advance for your help!

2) Do we get any special or extra discount for being a member mbworld/benzworld? The Tire Rack's pricing is set at the best price we can offer. We don't ask our customers to remember special codes or jump through hoops to prove membership in order to get the best price available from us at the time.

Great news...thanks for getting back to me.

Can I put Mercedes center caps on these ASA wheels?

I see it says "These tires and wheels will be mounted and balanced at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE."...

So do I just go to a local Recommended Installer and get it done there for free?

those wheels actually come with Mercedes center caps and when they arrive to you they will be ready to bolt on .... you can do it in your garage or driveway by yourself
