Question about Snow Tire E320 2000
Hello
Is it alright to just replace the back tires with snow tires or do i have to replace all four. I read that you have to replace all four. Has anyone just replaced just the rears? Plan to move out of NYC after next year dont feel like wasting too much on winter tires. Any Recommendations on tires for this winter.

You have to replace all four. If you don't, the level of traction you have in front will be very different from the amount of traction you have in the rear. Your car will easily spin in bad conditions. Also, when a car brakes, weight is transferred to the front of the car (that's why your front rotors are larger than your rears) so the two front tires will be carrying a lot of the load while braking, and traction in front will be critical. Think of it this way, two mroe tires would cost you less than $300. How much is your insurance deductible going to cost you if you get into an accident?
