Change Brake Pad or Not?
Hi, everyone. This is my first post.
Just want to ask you guys opinion if i should change my front brake pad for my lease's C320 coupe or not because I had order a ML350 and the dealer said it will arrive around Feb. Also I just had a Service A and the service guy told me I still ahve 20% left for my front brakes. Should I change or not?
Please help!!! Urgent... becasue the brake pad wear warning lights is on.
Thanks

Well since your light is on, I would say yes because when the car is turned in that would be one of the concerns when evaluating your car. Part of your agreement to lease the car is to maintain it. Average wear and tear is ok, but if it requires something to bring it back to par like bodywork, new wheels or brakes because it is deem unsafe, I would think they would at least charge you something for that. But then not everyone will charge you.
20% is ok to still drive on but because the light is on it is considered time to replace them.
