Thought I'd ask this here as it is a hot topic of discussion on the GL450 boards. MBZ won't allow you to order the off road package - sport,general air suspension additions and off road ride height increase, 4x4 linkage options, skid plates; with their appearance package - 19" wheels, skid plates, chrome roof rack.
But various people state they have added aftermarket wheels to their GL450 w/ the off road package. Do you have any hands on experience here? We've not heard a good definitive technical reason as to why you can/can't have the two...19" wheels,or 20 for that matter, and the off road package. TIA.
