I want to put some winter wheels on. But.. here's the rub (or not).. The wheels are going over C32 calipers.

My plan is: AMG 2 split spoke for summer, and use the C7's that came with my coupe for winter wheels.

Offset is the same @ 37mm (or so it seems) but is there something to the bow of those split spokes?

Any advice?

I don't think the C7 wheels will clear the calipers. You will need another set of C32 wheels or some other wheel which will clear the calipers. The AMG Style III wheels are shown on the accessory page of the C32 build your own page at mbusa.com

Try that. The C7 package wheel is an option for the C32.

peet, the mbusa.com site has had or does have numerous mistakes. I think listing the C7 wheels on the C32 may be one of them. I don't see how the C32 calipers will fit behind the C7's. I wish they did. I can't afford the C32 brakes and new wheels.

If you can't afford both... then buy the brakes $900 plus spacers $100. Still better deal than most.

I am on the market for: 1) brakes, 2) winter tires, 3) summer wheels to clear #1. Problem is if I buy #3, and put #2 on C7 wheels (following so far?) then will my C7 wheels (now with winter tires) clear the calipers!?

Anyhow, the costs thus far... $900 brakes, $700 winter tires (yep 17" not too cheap), $1200 AMG Split spokes. NOW that's REAL money!

So folks, please dig into your parts bin and figure this out!? Perhaps one if you can talk the dealer in to temporarily putting a C7 wheel onto a C32 car?! They can do all the work. The knowledge and education will be good for all - and then they can sell a 'cheap' winter wheel option to the C32 buyer!!!
