'03 CL55 wheel offset needed

Every place I call tells me that their offset wheels will fit perfect.

These are the sizes I would like to install:

front- 20 x 8.5 or 9" 245/35R20
rear- 20 x 10 275/30R20

- called Tire Rack ( have the best prices on these tires)

Does anyone have experience with matching correct offset.
I do not want the wheels to stick out, but also not to be in too much as original CL55's rears do look aggressive stock.

Here are some offsets claimed will fit correctly with 20x8.5 & 20x10.

front +32/ rear +42
+35/ +42
+28/ +32
+32/ +37

Thanks for any help,

CL55 AMG - Black on Black
Hi did you ever get a correct reply to your question, I'm also interested in fitting 2003 CL55 20" wheels that are 20X8.5 and 20X10? What offset is that best for our model...I'm wondering if a 20 offset front and 20 offset in the rear...will work! Let me know thanks!

Only MBs - the best or nothing
The ideal offset for front (8.5" wide wheel) would be et33 (et30-et40 would work).

The ideal offset for rear (10" wide wheel) would be et38 (et35-et43 would work).

Man sounds like they would stick out more that 1/2", you better get some wheels that fit soon.

Sounds about right, my car is pretty low and I'm running...

8.5x20 ET 35 with 245/35/20 and think I need a 5mm spacer (That would put them at ET 30)

9.5x20 ET35 with 285/30/20 they are perfect
.
