Hey Ben, how does that whole thing with the jack capacities work? 1.5T jack... car weighs 2T... what's the math involved?
I know that a majority of the weight is put on the jack because that is the higher point, but it still leaves weight on the other parts.
Can you elaborate?
I am curious because I want to figure out... ok car weighs X... whta is min jack limit that I can use.

The 1.5 ton jack is the correct one for our cars. The highest point on the car carries the least weight. Gravity naturally puts it at the lowest points. Have you noticed when you are carrying something that requires 2 people, the one with the lowest side is doing most of the work? The 1.5 ton racing jack is a heavy duty jack that will completely lift the car in only 6 pumps.
