Max tire size while maintaining stock diameter

Greetings,

I'm looking to maximize the contact patches on my C32 with stock staggered 17" rims.

Stock size:
F 225/45R17
R 245/40R17

When I bought the car it had Michelin Pilot sport PS2s on it in sizes:

F 235/40R17
R 255/40R17

I had no rubbing issues even after installing RENNtech springs, which lower the car 1.5 to 2 inches. What I'm wondering now is mostly about the front.

Basically I have two questions:
1. How close to stock total diameter (rim+tire) is the front rim with a 235/40 PS2 on it instead of 225/45?
2. How large a tire can I install on the front rim without rubbing and still maintain close to stock total diameter?

Thanks in advance!
