Center cap fitment issue? HELP!!!

I recently mounted a set of 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear ADR M-Classics on my 1999 CLK Cabrio. The rear wheel was hubcentric, but the front was not.

Does anybody know the diameter of the front wheel hub (centerbore)?

Also, I was able to use the rear center caps, but could not use the fronts because the axle dust cap (covers the nut and holds in the grease) is in the way. Has anybody had this issue? If so, what was the solution?

Thanks in advance for your help

depends on the weather
that is a common problem when fitting w202 wheels on a W208 because the center hub has a much larger extension .... I do not know of a fix for that problem other than smashing the dust cap with a hammer or removing it altogether both of which are not recommended

My front caps wouldn't fit because of the dust covers - we just flattened out the dust covers a little and the caps fit fine now. I can't imagine flattening them out would cause any problems. The dust cover is just that - a cover to keep out dust. It just needs to seal to keep out the dust.
