'97 E420 Wheel Offset

I have a 1997 E420, just wondering what is the offset for the wheels. I'm looking to purchase the 18" AMG Monoblock II
18 x 8 1/2 with tire 235 x 40x 18 (front)
18 x 9 with tire 265 x 35 x 18
Would that fit the car?

depends on the weather
18X8 ET31 front
18X9 ET35 rear

would be the correct fitments.

the above mentioned tire sizes would be acceptable but, you may want to think about 245/40-18 front and 275/35-18 rear (it looks, fits and performs better)

Luke, that is the first time I have heard that tire size recommendation for regular W210. Those E55 sizes are usually good after the fender lips are rolled like on the E55. The Tire Rack Upgrade Garage shows 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 for E-Class (non E55).

The Upgrade Garage has a rear tire size error for E55 - it lists 255/35/18. I have sent a couple of emails and your webmaster has not corrected this error.
