difference in ride between these 2 wheel/tire pkg.

difference in ride between these 2 wheel/tire pkg.

this is probably a dumb question, but will there be a noticeable difference in ride comfort between 235/45 on a 17"wheel and 245/45 on a 18". The 245/45 being less of a "lower profile" tire?

IMO not really, however if this is for an E430, you can't put a 245/45 18" tyre on the car. The correct firment is 245/40 for an 18" rim. Fitting tyres with the incorrect rolling diameter may affect the cars eletronic systems - stability control, ABS etc.
