Lowenhart LD-1's
I saw a pic of a set of Lowenharts on ebay, the pic had one rim without the lowenhart center cap on and i noticed the lug holes, there was a bunch of holes, not just 5 or 6 but like 8. Is this normal? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1869420909

They may be real. However you see 8 holes. Because he Re-Drilled them to fit his car. He probably bought them used and had to re-drill new holes for his car so that they can fit. DONT buy these, redrilled rims shake at high speeds and are not very safe.

The eight holes could be the double offsets, mine has five then 4 or (can't remember the exact holes)more pre drilled holes(just the mark), i've seen wheels with double offset come out from the factory. It maybe for BMW and Mercedes or Lexus and vice versa.

Regarding filling and drilling the holes and shaky rides i can't really answer that. However, it is a common practice in my country (indonesia) to either change the PCD pattern or change the wheel holes pattern. It will get shaky if u done it unaccurately. I guess you guys will be pissed seeing civic or toyota using AMG wheels
, i've seen it.
